Here is a great piece of history from a great competitor. This is an original 1990's Curt Schilling Game Worn & Signed Philadelphia Phillies Cap with an Inspirational Message Inscription! Curt Schilling was a pitcher in the Boston Red Sox team that broke Babe Ruth's Curse. Curtis Montague Schilling (born November 14, 1966) During his career, Schilling played for the Baltimore Orioles (1988–1990), the Houston Astros (1991), the Philadelphia Phillies (1992–2000), the Arizona Diamondbacks (2000–2003) and the Boston Red Sox (2004–2007). During that career, Schilling was a 6 time All-Star (1997–1999, 2001, 2002, 2004), a 3 time World Series champion (2001, 2004, 2007), the World Series MVP (2001), the NLCS MVP (1993) and won the Roberto Clemente Award (2001). He also was a 2 time MLB wins leader (2001, 2004) and a 2 time NL strikeout leader (1997, 1998). He is a member of the Philadelphia Phillies Wall of Fame and the Boston Red Sox Hall of Fame. This New Era cap was worn by Schilling extensively with the Phillies. The team insignia on front has turned a pinkish hue from sweating. The underside of the cap has "38" and "Whatever it Takes!" written in black marker near a period signature. The headband shows these labels: "Diamond Collection," "New Era 50/50" and "size 7 1/4.". The cap is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the Beckett Company. It is a great cap from a true fighter.
