Jerry Ray Lucas (born March 30, 1940) was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame with the class of 1980. During his career, Lucas played for the 1963–1969 Cincinnati Royals, 1969–1971 San Francisco Warriors, 1971–1974 New York Knicks. He was a NBA champion (1973), a 7 time NBA All-Star (1964–1969, 1971), NBA All-Star Game MVP (1965), 3 time All-NBA First Team (1965, 1966, 1968), 2 time All-NBA Second Team (1964, 1967). He was also a NBA Rookie of the Year (1964), NBA All-Rookie First Team (1964), NBA anniversary team (50th, 75th), NCAA champion (1960), 2 time NCAA Final Four MOP (1960, 1961). Lucas was a 2 time Consensus National College Player of the Year (1961, 1962), 3 time Consensus first-team All-American (1960–1962), 3 time First-team All-Big Ten (1960–1962), 2 time NCAA rebounding leader (1961, 1962). His No. 11 jersey was retired by Ohio State Buckeyes and was the 2 time Mr. Basketball USA (1957, 1958), 2 time First-team Parade All-American (1957, 1958).
