He was a 4 time All-Star (1938, 1939, 1942, 1943) and a World Series champion (1940). He was a 3 time NL strikeout leader (1941–1943) who was noted for Pitching two straight no-hitters on June 11 and 15, 1938. He was honored as a member of the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame. It has been authenticated by the SGC Company. They graded the card as a A, which stands for Authentic with evidence of being trimmed. This is a high grade for this card. It is encapsulated in their casing for display and preservation.
