Here is an original card from the 1955 Topps set of Baseball Cards. This is #164 which is the Rookie year card of Roberto Clemente of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Roberto Enrique Clemente Walker (August 18, 1934 – December 31, 1972) was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame with the class of 1973. During his career, Clemente was a 5 time All-Star (1960–1967, 1969–1972) and a 2× World Series champion (1960, 1971). Among his accomplishments were the NL MVP (1966) and the World Series MVP (1971). He added 12 Gold Glove Awards (1961–1972) and was a 4 time NL batting champion (1961, 1964, 1965, 1967). The Pittsburgh Pirates retired his No. 21 jersey. He is a member of the Pirates Hall of Fame. It has been graded by the PSA Company. They have rated the card as a 4, which stands for Very Good to Excellent. It is encapsulated in their casing for display and preservation.
