Here is a great looking card that was signed by the player! This is the large size card that is known to collectors as an "Exhibit". These Exhibit baseball cards were made, and distributed between the years of 1947 -1966. The "set" consists of 341 baseball cards that measure 3 3/8" x 5 3/8" The black & white photos with the simulated autograph, and have blank backs. The cards were never numbered, This card show the image of Robin Roberts of the Philadelphia Phillies. He was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame with the class of 1976. Robin Evan Roberts (September 30, 1926 – May 6, 2010) was an American Major League Baseball starting pitcher who pitched primarily for the Philadelphia Phillies (1948–1961). He spent the latter part of his career with the Baltimore Orioles (1962–1965), Houston Astros (1965–66), and Chicago Cubs (1966). During his career, Roberts was a 7 time All Star (1950–1956), 4 time MLB wins leader (1952–1955), a 2 time MLB strikeout leader (1953, 1954). The Philadelphia Phillies retired his No. 36 retired jersey number and is on the Philadelphia Phillies Wall of Fame. It is signed in nice blue ink across his chest and above his printed signature. It has been professionally authenticated by the famous Beckett Company and is encapsulated in their holder for display and preservation.
