Here is an original card from the 1940 Play Ball set of Baseball Cards. This is #7 which is of Bill Dickey of the New York Yankees. William Malcolm Dickey (June 6, 1907 – November 12, 1993) was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame with the class of 1954. Dickey was an 11 time All-Star (1933, 1934, 1936–1943, 1946) and a 7× World Series champion (1932, 1936–1939, 1941, 1943). The New York Yankees retired his No. 8 jersey number and is a Monument Park honoree. The front of the card has the fine ink autograph of the hall of famer. It has been graded by the Sportscard GUarantee, LLC, SGC. They have found the autograph as Authentic. It is encapsulated in their casing for display and preservation.
