Here is an original card from the 1933 set of Goudey Chewing Gum Baseball Cards. This is #149 which is of Babe Ruth of the New York Yankees. Ruth was known as the Sultan of Swat and the Bambino. He was honored by being one of the first five members of the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1936. During his career, Ruth played for the Boston Red Sox (1914–1919), New York Yankees (1920–1934) and the Boston Braves (1935) and also coached the Brooklyn Dodgers (1938). During that time, Ruth was a 2 time All-Star (1933, 1934), 7 time World Series champion (1915, 1916, 1918, 1923, 1927, 1928, 1932), AL MVP (1923), AL batting champion (1924). He was also a 12 time AL home run leader (1918–1921, 1923, 1924, 1926–1931), 5× AL RBI leader (1919–1921, 1923, 1926). As a pitcher, he was the AL ERA leader (1916) and pitched a combined no-hitter on June 23, 1917. The New York Yankees retired his No. 3 jersey number and he has is a Yankee Monument Park honoree and is in the Boston Red Sox Hall of Fame. He was chosen as a Major League Baseball All-Century Team, Major League Baseball All-Time Team. It has been graded by the SGC Company. They have rated the card as a 1, which stands for Poor but authentic condition. Ruth cards are tough to find in any condition. It is encapsulated in their casing for display and preservation.
