Here is an original AUTOGRAPHED card from 1922 edition of Baseball Cards produced by the American Caramel Company. These are known to collectors as the E121 series. These were inserted into packs of candy to promote the caramel. These feature an image in the center of a player on the front with the name and team noted below their picture. This one shows the famous player, Waite Charles Hoyt (September 9, 1899 – August 25, 1984) was an American right-handed professional baseball pitcher who played in Major League Baseball for seven different teams during 1918–1938. He was one of the dominant pitchers of the 1920s, and the most successful pitcher for the New York Yankees during that decade. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1969. The card has been professionally graded by the Beckett Company and they rated it as being a 10 Authentic Autographed. It comes in their acid free holder for display and preservation.
