Here is a nicely signed photo of Willie Stargell of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Wilver Dornell Stargell
(March 6, 1940 – April 9, 2001), nicknamed "Pops" later in his career,
was an American professional baseball left fielder and first baseman who
spent all of his 21 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) (1962–1982)
with the Pittsburgh Pirates. During his career, he was a 7 time All-Star
(1964–1966, 1971–1973, 1978) and a 2 time World Series champion (1971,
1979). He was awarded as the NL MVP (1979) and World Series MVP (1979)
as well as the NLCS MVP (1979). He won the Roberto Clemente Award (1974)
and was a 2 time NL home run leader (1971, 1973), NL RBI leader (1973).
The Pittsburgh Pirates retired his No. 8 uniform number and he is a
member of the Pirates Hall of Fame. The 8 by 10 inch color photo is signed in clear blue ink. The signature has been authenticated by Beckett Authentication Services. It has their authentication seal in the lower corner of the back with the identification number of #BM03169. This is a great signature on a classic photo.
