Here is an authentic card from the t-207 set of baseball cards. The T207 Brown Background baseball series were distributed in 1907 via various tobacco brands, including Broadleaf, Cycle, Napoleon and Recruit. Consisting of 207 cards, each collectible measures 1-1/2" by 2-5/8" and features a distinct player portrayal (with the obvious brown background) framed by a thin white border with the athlete’s last name, the name his home team’s city and league identified within a small rectangle at the bottom edge. Card backs carry various tobacco advertisements. This one is from the Recruit brand of cigarettes. It has the image of Washington Senators Ed "Dixie" walker. Ewart Gladstone "Dixie" Walker (June 1, 1887 – November 14, 1965), was a Major League Baseball pitcher who played from 1909 to 1912 with the Washington Senators. The card has been professionally graded by the SGC Company and they have rated it as a 5, which stands for Excellent Condition. It is encapsulated in their holder for display and preservation.
