Here is an original leather catcher's mitt that was from the 1940's era. What is special is that it was signed by one of the stars of the Negro Leagues! This one is boldly autographed by William Walker Cash (February 21, 1919 – September 12, 2011), nicknamed "Ready", was an American baseball player who became an all-star catcher in the Negro leagues. He batted and threw right-handed. Cash earned his nickname when he was benched and protested to a team manager, "When I put on the uniform, I'm ready to play". It has been authenticated by the Beckett Authentication Services. It is accompanied by the letter of authenticity. It is a great glove and autograph with the letter of authenticity as a bonus.
