Here is an authentic card from the T-207 set of baseball cards. The T207 Brown Background baseball series were distributed in 1907 via various tobacco brands, including Broadleaf, Cycle, Napoleon and Recruit. Consisting of 207 cards, each collectible measures 1-1/2" by 2-5/8" and features a distinct player portrayal (with the obvious brown background) framed by a thin white border with the athlete’s last name, the name his home team’s city and league identified within a small rectangle at the bottom edge. Card backs carry various tobacco advertisements. This one is from the Recruit brand of cigarettes. This one shows the rightfielder for the Chicago subs. Frank M. "Wildfire" Schulte (September 17, 1882 – October 2, 1949) played for the Chicago Cubs, Pittsburgh Pirates, Philadelphia Phillies, and Washington Senators from 1904 to 1918. He helped the Cubs win four National League (NL) championships and two World Series. In 1911, he won the NL Chalmers Award, a precursor to the modern-day MVP award; that year, Schulte had become the first of only seven players in history to join the 20–20–20–20 club, hitting 30 doubles, 21 triples, and 21 home runs, and stealing 23 bases. The card has been professionally graded by the SGC Company and they have rated it as a 1, which stands for Poor Condition. It is encapsulated in their holder for display and preservation.
