Here is an original Circa 1990 Sid Fernandez Game Worn & Signed New York Mets Cap with Equipment Manager Provenance. The two-time All-Star and World Series champ donned this lid during his tenure in The Big Apple. Superb wear with soiling to the inner headband and under-brim. Vintage "50" under the visor, along with El Sid's autograph in vintage blue sharpie. Tags include New Era, Diamond Collection, and "6 7/8." This piece was sold a couple of years ago by Heritage Auctions. They stated that the piece was consigned with many other game used items which were all obtained, over a twenty-year period, directly from team equipment managers. It is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Heritage Auctions. This is a very neat and affordable piece of New York Mets History!
