What a great piece for a New York Met fan! This is a 1989 Charlie O'Brien Game Used & Signed New York Mets Jersey with Equipment Manager Provenance. O'Brien was a fifteen-year MLB veteran won a World Series with the Braves in 1995. Here is his game jersey from his stint with the Mets. It is a road gray knit pullover that displays the correct sewn-on identifiers and trim, with "Rawlings 46" and "Set 1 1989" tags in the interior tail. It exhibits solid wear and is signed and inscribed "Charlie O'Brien #33" on the front in 9/10 vintage black sharpie. This piece was sold through Heritage Auctions a few years ago and is accompanied by their letter of authenticity. They stated it was consigned with many other game used items which were all obtained, over a twenty-year period, directly from team equipment managers. In addition to the Heritage Auctions letter of authenticity, it was pre-certified by PSA/DNA. A cool uniform and clear signature!
