Large Size 1963 "Exhibit" Card of Pittsburg Pirate Roberto Clemente(HOF 1984)

Here is a great looking card that was signed by the player! This is the large size card that is known to collectors as an "Exhibit". These versions with the statistics back Exhibit baseball cards were made, and distributed in 1963. The "set" consists of 64 baseball cards that measure 3 3/8" x 5 3/8" The sepia tone photos with the simulated autograph, and have the statistics on the backs. The cards were never numbered, This card show the image of Roberto Clemente of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Roberto Enrique Clemente Walker (August 18, 1934 – December 31, 1972) was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame with the class of 1973. During his career, Clemente was a 5 time All-Star (1960–1967, 1969–1972) and a 2× World Series champion (1960, 1971). Among his accomplishments were the NL MVP (1966) and the World Series MVP (1971). He added 12 Gold Glove Awards (1961–1972) and was a 4 time NL batting champion (1961, 1964, 1965, 1967). The Pittsburgh Pirates retired his No. 21 jersey. He is a member of the Pirates Hall of Fame. It comes in an acid-free holder for display and preservation.
