Here is a neat piece. This piece came from the personal collection of Joe Rudi and he signed the back of the ticket. Rudi was born in Modesto, California on September 7th 1946. He played 15 years at the major league level with he Kansas City Athletics, Oakland Athletics, California Angels and Boston Red Sox. During that time, he was not only a key player in the Oakland A’s 3 world championships in 1972,1973 and 1974, but he was also a collector. During his career he was a 3× All-Star (1972, 1974, 1975) and 3× World Series champion (1972–1974). He won three gold glove awards (1974–1976) and was honored by being enshrined in the Athletics Hall of Fame. This is an original 1975 Boston Red Sox vs. Oakland Athletics American League Championship Series Game 3 Ticket signed by Joe Rudi. This is a full ticket to the third and final game of the 1975 ALCS between the Boston Red Sox and Oakland Athletics. The game was won by the Red Sox 3-0. Three-time All-Star Joe Rudi signed the back of the ticket in solid black Sharpie. The ticket comes in an acid-free holder for display and preservation.
