Here is an original card from the 1941 Play Ball set of Baseball Cards. This is #70 which is of Bill Dickey of the New York Yankees. William Malcolm Dickey (June 6, 1907 – November 12, 1993) was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame with the class of 1954. Dickey was an 11 time All-Star (1933, 1934, 1936–1943, 1946) and a 7× World Series champion (1932, 1936–1939, 1941, 1943). The New York Yankees retired his No. 8 jersey number and is a Monument Park honoree. What makes this card special is that it is signed in in by the Hall of Famer, Bill Dickey. This card was authenticated by the Beckett, BVG Company, and it is encapsulated in their casing for display and preservation.
