He was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame with the class of 1991. Gaylord Jackson Perry (September 15, 1938 – December 1, 2022) was inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame with the class of 1991. During his career, perry played for the San Francisco Giants (1962–1971), Cleveland Indians (1972–1975), Texas Rangers (1975–1977), San Diego Padres (1978–1979), Texas Rangers (1980), New York Yankees (1980), Atlanta Braves (1981), Seattle Mariners (1982–1983) and the Kansas City Royals (1983). Perry was a 5 time All-Star (1966, 1970, 1972, 1974, 1979), 2 time Cy Young Award (1972, 1978), 3 time Wins leader (1970, 1972, 1978), Pitched a no-hitter on September 17, 1968. The San Francisco Giants retired his No. 36 jersey number and he is also a member of the San Francisco Giants Wall of Fame and the Cleveland Guardians Hall of Fame. The card has fine colors. The card was professionally graded by the SGC Company and they rated it as a 2.5, which stands for Good Plus. It is in their acid free holder for display and preservation.
