1909 E-95 Philadelphia Caramel Card of Chicago's Frank Chance (HOF 1946)

Here is an original card from 1909 edition of Baseball Cards produced by the Philadelphia Caramel. These were inserted into packs of candy to promote the caramel. These feature an image in the center of a player on the front with the name and team noted below their picture. This one is of Frank Chance of the Chicago Cubs. Frank Leroy Chance (September 9, 1877 – September 15, 1924) was inducted into the Baseball hall of Fame with the class of 1946. Chance was a 2 time World Series champion (1907, 1908) and a 2 time NL stolen base leader (1903, 1906). He was the NL runs scored leader (1906) and was honored as being a member of the Chicago Cubs Hall of Fame. It has lots of damage but is real and priced according to the condition. It comes in an acid free holder for display and preservation.
